Mallory and Nate have been dating since high school! These high school sweethearts met before graduating high school. After that, they both decided to serve missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Nate served in Ghana, Africa and Mallory served in Boston, MA – which is how I met her! We went out from the MTC at the same time, but she was an English speaking missionary and I was a Spanish speaking missionary. We ended up living in the same apartment for our first few transfers in Connecticut and became good friends there.
I heard about Nate frequently because Mal and Nate were serving at the same time. (Cool thing – my husband also served in Ghana but a different mission!).
I remembering Mal mention that her and Nate both wanted to get married when they got home from their missions. And it happened! It’s so similar to my love story that I can’t help but fall in love with theirs, too. They’ve been married for over two years now and I was so stoked when Mal signed up for one of my couples sessions. They are a beautiful couple!
