You’ve made it through your fun, crazy, hectic wedding day! Hopefully you and your new spouse had time to relax during your honeymoon. Now you’re adjusting to newlywed life and realizing that you need to write all of your wedding thank you’s! Here’s some simple, easy ways to get out your thank you’s quickly and looking good!
My husband and I got married about two weeks before the start of another college semester. We went on our honeymoon for a week. That left us with only one week before school started. I remember making it a point to get out our thank you cards before starting school so that stress wasn’t lurking in our minds.
I decided to take the hand-written route. I divvied the gift list between me and my husband. We divided and conquered. BUT BOY DID THAT TAKE FOREVER. We were in 2016 people – technology was alive and thriving just like today. But, I went old school. And getting all those cards done in a week was intense.
Maybe handwritten cards fits your personality. If that’s your jam, roll with it. You will touch many people with your handwritten notes – like I’m sure mine did.
Needless to say, I have some easier alternatives that will definitely help make your life easier post-wedding stress. Yes, a way to send out thank you’s without having to hand write your cards.
